" The project has not only increased our speed-to-market but has also reduced product development lifecycle. "
With the acquisition of Zain Telecom in Africa, the company had to reinvent itself to the standards of a global organization. This meant that the company needed to standardize its operations across geographies and group companies. Menon took it upon himself to create a global IT delivery model, called NetIT (network IT integration) to achieve synergies between core networks and IT platforms. This increased the organization's speed-to-market and reduced product development lifecycle. The company can now optimize headcount and reduce costs with workload distributions that cater to the needs of all countries. The project also creates a global talent pool that's able to service all countries of operation and group companies—including needs for specialized talent—at no additional cost even to smaller companies.
