The datacenter boasts of storage consolidation which makes room for centralized and flexible management. This helps conceal complexities and reduces overheads. Server virtualization uses failover cluster mode and ensures high-availability. In addition, the group companies' hosted e-mail domains were migrated to an internal exchange where users are provided with the latest features like global address book directory, Blackberry Enterprise Server synchronization, active-sync for Windows Mobile, single sign-on, and contact and calendar sync. The flexibility of creating various organizational units and distribution lists along with the ability to apply group information security policy was highly appreciated by top management.
