Krishna decided to embark on a creative solution to this old business problem: A virtualized network storage solution, featuring data-replication, and thin provisioning. With the additional capacity, Infosys was able to move away from legacy tape backup and all DR-related activities fell into place. The organization's business continuity plans received a boost with a 12-hour improvement in RPO timelines and recovery time was reduced from four days to four hours. The resultant increase in productivity helped Infosys reduce time-to-market by shrinking the testing-to-production cycle time.
