The project has also improved business processes at Vedanta and brought about more than 25 percent improvement in customer service, through order fulfillment accuracy, speed of response and accurate status information. The private cloud has boosted the company's revenue by reducing manufacturing cycle times by 10-40 percent. The cloud also provides Vedanta with visibility into incremental revenue opportunities. Through improved direct and indirect manpower efficiency, along with automated data collection and resource management, Vedanta has saved 5-10 percent in labor costs. In terms of capital expenditure, the company has saved 5- 10 percent due to better utilization of available resources, and a well-coordinated materials movement.
