Chakravorty started by implementing telepresence to connect Ericsson HQ in Sweden with Ericsson India's Gurgaon office. That was followed up with a complete managed services suite through videoconferencing managed services, Microsoft Lync, Livecast, teleconferencing, and the ability to work from home. Now employees at Ericsson can collaborate with customers or their peers anytime to find out the status of projects, have steering group and board meetings, etcetera without having to waste precious time waiting. Chakravorty has helped Ericsson India save around Rs 5.5 million per annum, while providing better work-life balance to the employees.
