To keep that going, it needed an integrated system for sales, field and supply chain that would empower its sales team through the entire order lifecycle. Subramaniam achieved the desired objectives by setting up a configurable system called e-Logistics which had the necessary internal controls. The system was built to provide a single version of truth across the value chain and ensure synergies between the sales, the field, and the factory. Subramaniam did this by leveraging a core team consisting of four functional people and two IT personnel focused on product, pricing and field setups. This was followed by practice sessions that involved users at every stage. The best practices derived from the implementation in India will now be utilized for deployments in other countries.
